daydreamed an incredibly strange and random malcemps scenario in class based on an offhanded mention of something in dms. what if some warp fuckery happened that caused the emperor to revert from a 14 foot golden divine figure to his old 5 foot something neolithic era self who's just as intelligent and psychically potent but with less understanding of his powers and no memory of most of human history or his own part in it. maybe he's a little grimy and disheveled and needs a bath. and obviously he's pretty alarmed because he's suddenly woken up in a room magnitudes bigger than any building he's ever seen, and he immediately wants to know everything, but he can't communicate with the custodes or other palace staff because they're talking in a language that to him hasn't been invented yet. he's growing agitated over the environment he's in and the confusion and concern everyone is expressing towards him, he just wants to learn and understand but he doesn't have a starting point and nobody around him will calm down long enough for him to pick up on their language, and then suddenly there's someone next to him who he's never seen before but he knows, somehow he knows this stranger, and their minds are connected so that when the stranger speaks the meanings of the words appear in his head and he understands them, can say them back, gradually building a vocabulary that lets him verbalize his confusion and ask for answers. and then they uh kiss idk i ran out of steam on describing this kinda but i'm rotating it so fast in my mind
