Malcolm Middleton - Love Comes in Waves
Love, love, love comes in waves I want you to love me as much as I love you And you do Then you don’t Then you do Then you don’t Then you do…
Love, love, love comes in waves I want you to love me as much as I love you And you do Then you don’t Then you do Then you don’t
Love is a battlefield Love is a car with a cracked window shield Love is raining in Glasgow Love is a lie
Love is for TV and movie stars Love is for songs played on slow guitars Love is for boyracers and their cars Love is a lie I’m a liar Love is a lie you’re a liar Love is a why did you lie to me?
I don’t know how I’ll get over you I’ve got my bag of tricks but I don’t think they’ll work It seems I’ve changed and I can’t hide There’s nowhere to hide
I’m never going to give you up I’m just going to keep lifting you up Higher than the sky going up and up Faster than why would you give up on me Faster than how could you give up on me Faster than why did you give up on me
Love, love, love comes in waves I want you to love me as much as I love you But you don’t

Malcolm Middleton // Devil and the Angel The most perfect lyrics I ever heard
Oh I'm locked inside Trapped inside this body I can't get out And there's not enough room I'm glued to the back of this bone mask
I would like to share with you my favorite Christmas song of all time. Enjoy.
Malcolm Middleton - "Bear With Me" from Into The Woods. First solo album from Scottish arch-miserablists (this description may be trademarked) Arab Strap. Into the Woods is packed with wonderfully wry and darkly humourous songs. Some of the lyrics actually make me laugh out loud (no other song references giving someone 1 000 000 McCoys crisps - steak flavour). Other songs like this and No Modest Bear make me well up. Memories etc
This song is the sweetest sadness..
