Alex I've seriously been saying I've wanted a tattoo since I was like 14.I don't think I will literally ever stop loving whale sharks or Pokemon so I'm ready to do this and NOT wuss out on it. I'm so glad Kelly is going to take me. It started off as us going in March and turned into us going after work on the 31st so LET'S DO THIS.

This is Aki, who I met via taybeck (they know awesome people, I have learned just to accept it and bogart their friends so they become my friends too) probably close to five years ago now. She is of the awesome hair (and usually fuchsia or some craziness color, which I respect/admire on a fundamental level, yo), the adorable husband (WAAAH THEIR WEDDING WAS SO CUTE I'm so sad I couldn't go. adorable couples are the best/worst things in existence ok and they are a perfect example), the snarky sense of humor, the wholehearted Trek love, and the WICKEDLY TALENTED ART SKILLS OH MY GOD. Aki, I don't know what your policy is on art linkage/postage so I didn't include it, but I'll see it come up on my fb or tumblr feed or whatnot and just O_O for like thirty seconds because how?? howwwww??? She's also a fierce professional (IT field, yeah, why are all the people I know so weirdly competent???) and the captain of the Good Ship Pikerprise. Aki would probably force everyone she met to wear a Cillian Murphy mask while interacting with her LET'S BE HONEST RIGHT NOW.  When taybeck introduced us (to Aki, her future husb, and their equally awesome friend), we all had sushi, and like, I STILL FONDLY REPLAY THAT VISIT (along with my failing at Guitar Hero on, like, medium ok) and desperately want her to come down from the icy north or w/e it is that godforsaken state is located and VISIT. US. AGAIN. I demand a GH rematch! I demand to touch Aki's hair in person! I demand we all watch something Trekkish together!!!!! idk Aki is one of those genuinely nice and interesting people that makes me feel like a flopping seal of disaster and capslock in comparison. How do you people talk to me???
