“what the hell, dang, the deal was whoever makes the next sale buys gelato. are we just ignoring the sacred rules now?” he throws his hands in the air and immediately lets them fall right back down to his sides again. they were standing by their respective spots at the fleamarket, which were adjacent to each other. in the past couple of weeks, they began to find methods help make time go by faster during the hours where traffic slows down. this is the time their usual costumers are most likely sitting down, having dinner rather than wandering around the main square. today they made a friendly bet and mack was the sore winner. he watches, skeptically, as dang rolls his eyes and turns to hide a smirk. “hey, i see you smiling! it’s not funny— go!” regardless of his own words, mack begins laughing too. and gracefully accepting the loss, dang walks around the table and in the direction of the ice cream shop.
as dang leaves from one way, mack spots malia coming from the other. “oh, there she is! yeah, i know why you’re here, mal,” he gazes down at his art displayed out in front of him and then looks up to meet malia’s eyes, “but the free hug offer with every purchase expired yesterday.” ( @maliafm )
