i just read the book and i may have just missed it but i don’t remember her being described as overweight even if she was supposed to be!! also the leah book isn’t out yet and the cover was released wayyy after casting would’ve happened so i wouldn’t let this ruin the movie for you

oh yeah i figured that may be the case for the most part, and even if the author herself knew that leah was bigger it’s not like that would’ve mattered because authors don’t always have a say in casting, so it’s just a little frustrating to think that maybe that they did know and nothing was done about it! definitely not going to discourage me from seeing the movie, it’s just a little frustrating, y’know?
