The first of many! My goal today was not to finish at a certain time or rank, but to finish with a smile. Huge shout out to the LA Tri Club. Post Malibu swim clinic and feeling confident going into next week. I'm also pretty stoked on ocean swimming these days. I can't wait to put in more work after this race. Had to really practice some restraint during today's run-bike-run. I wanted to push hard, and honestly that would have been the easier option for me. But instead, I dug deep in a different way this time. I held back and honored my current limitations. As a result, I had a relaxing ride and run. Most importantly, I still had fun.
