Everyone holds a grudge. Some for one second, others for one life time. Some people let this grudge fuel them to do evil things that have been done onto them. You can most of these people in your neighborhood.

Don John

Be the bastard child of the king, Don John will never be fully excepted as a member of the family. He will always be in the shadows of Don Pedro and never receive any type of inherits. On top of this he is not close to his half brother. The man that is, is Claudio. This motivate Don John to do anything to make Claudio miserable.When he finds out that Claudio is in love with Hero he try’s to break it up.

This is shown first when Don Pedro woo’s Hero for Claudio. During this time Don John tell Claudio that Don Pedro is doing this to have Hero for himself. Claudio does believe him and becomes angry with the both of them. Claudio’s anger quickly changes when Hero said she will marry him.

Don John tries again by plotting. He has Borachio make love to Margaret , Hero’s lading in waiting, while calling Hero’s name. During the act Don John brings Don Pedro and Claudio to witness “Hero’s” name . Due to Borachio and Conrad’s overheard talking this plan also fails.

His tragic background drives him to create just as much tragedy for everyone around him.

Malign Influence

A character who causes trouble out of hatred, jealousy or temper. He actively wishes others ill and works toward that. He can be any age.
