(Slight spoilers for my Disability Pride Month drawing that I'm about ⅔ done with)
This is Malik. He was a member of the (currently unnamed) navy in one of my many fantasy worlds, until his ship was captured by a pirate crew... that happened to be captained by his sister. A man of rules and morals, Malik didn't do well at first with the chaos of the pirate ship, but after the Captain's ransom plan goes wrong, he finds himself stuck with this group of roudy criminals, and to his surprise, one of them really starts to grow on him...
(His leg was amputated after a battle post-pirate capture)
