Back in Pollença, I had lunch and a post-ride siesta — when in Rome Spain... — then set out to see something of the town. I found my way into the 13th-century Esglèsia de Nostra Senyora dels Àngels (Our Lady of the Angels) built by the Knights Templar and these days impressively Baroque, and then up the Calvary Steps to the more modest chapel at the top.

Integrated transport as it should be done. The bus brings one into the inter-modal station built under the old railway station, with the bus and train platforms next to each other. The former railway station is now a public park.
