So of course in the top 5 of mine, I have to choose at least one, one-shot. This one comes right from Mal her self. looking back in the review section I first read this back in June of 2018.

However I had not read anything from Mal before this piece to my knowledge. One day we were chatting in the old Dramione Fanfic Recommendations chat and we had been talking about stories. Somehow either she shared her whole profile with me or she shared the link to this. That part doesn't really matter though.

So after searching her profile I came upon this one-shot. I read it and I devoured all 10,646 words in a matter of minutes. She packs a punch of Angst, Heart Wrenching Sadness, and A surprise end that you did not see coming even though its not a happy one.

I think MALs twist to the popular trope - Marriage Law (one of my fav tropes too) is very unique and she pulls it off perfectly. Not everyone can handle UHEA, but if you find your self in a place where you can, I don't think this piece should be discounted.

Upon reading it you will find that a beautifully crafted work, it's not every day that someone can write something so gut-wrenching and convey the emotions so well that as a reader happens to read it they feel every word of it. Since I've read it I have recc'd it several times and I have read it at least one other time.
