Apple Beer deemed Fully Legit
More than “craft beer,” my goal in brewing is to make an everyday ale that is practical to produce in large volumes. I’m on to something with this latest batch of apple beer. My wife said she would be happy to drink it even if I followed the exact same recipe next time.
As far as what to improve, well the mosaic hops worked well for bittering... maybe too well since they are a touch overpowering. One route would be to use hops with less AAU. Instead, I will balance out the flavor with an additional gallon of apple juice in the next five gallon batch.
