You must just have been over-tired. It's not as though I devoted actual minutes of time to google image search looking for the most Rommath-looking Grumpy Bear. That would be crazy.

(I don't know if you ever saw the Care Bears, but Rommath totally is Grumpy Bear. He's grumpy but has a heart of gold, and helps all the grumpy children of the world. He also makes all the magic mechanical doo-dahs for the other Care Bears <3)

Poor Tae. So he's either stuck with the paperwork like Lor'themar while Belloc's off having adventures, or he's languishing in Ironforge. (Would the dwarves treat him well as a political prisoner or badly as a dwarf murderer?) I suppose he and Rommath could complain about paperwork together, though god, being cooped up together being bored and grouchy is going to lead to some epic arguments. And/or epic banging.

I think I'm going to have to adopt your prisoner headcanon, if only for AU rescue fic. Rommath infiltrating Ironforge: absolutely no lore problems there whatsoever. *whistles*

oh dang, now, see, that does make going back to WoW tempting… but I’m waiting until I can arrange a political marriage

It’s similar in that you send followers out on timed missions, and their chance of success depends on their level, gear, and special abilities. I’m not sure what happens if you lose, but Wowpedia claims that your followers can get captured so that you have to send the others on a mission to rescue them. Followers have more personality than Sworn Swords, so I think I’m going to enjoy this. :)

But as for your requirement, WoW has done so well using elements from other types of games lately that I’m sure it's only a matter of time until the dating sim…
