A kitten is something a higher power brings into your life to torment you
#turned out i was misgendering the only cat in the neighborhood who wasn't TNR yet#and that's why he* had been so aggressive and thin all of a sudden#it wasn't a disease we needed to worry about#it was the greatest disease of all: a baby#and now there is a single feral kitten toddling around my back yard hiding under lawn mowers#giving me a constant stream of little panic attacks while i try to figure out how to catch it#before it's a billion degrees and storming out tomorrow#every time we almost catch it there is some misadventure or looney tunes ploy#we named it but i can't even bring myself to get attached enough to call it by name#we will probably foster this kitten unless we get attached#IF IT LIVES LONG ENOUGH#also gotta capture mama immediately#which is going to be even harder bc she is scared of everything#and she's not even a good mom#the stray girlies#(mama isn't one of the ones ive managed to befriend/tame)#mama is#graytux
