Day 1/365: The First of Many More
ningas-kugon (Filipino)
– "sa simula lang magaling"
– an invaluable characteristic wherein a person only exerts effort for his chores/responsibilities in the beginning and just wings it as it ends.
I've had this personal blog for years now and although there's really no one else but me, my mom, and a select few of my friends who've stumbled upon this, it's still kinda sad that I've neglected it off to the side. I made this as an avenue for me to be able to articulate my thoughts into (somehow) beautifully-woven words, but I never really got to enhance my writing because I rarely published any content on this blog. Well today, I've decided to change that. I may be the only one reading this but, that's okay. I'm doing this for myself, anyway.

My dad and I picked my mom up at a nearby mall earlier this evening. The first question my mom asked me when I saw her was, "So, where are we having dinner?" I already had an answer in mind because I've actually been asking my parents to eat at Mama Lou's, a local Italian restaurant, since they opened a new branch in Evia. Tonight, my parents happened to agree with me.
We were having a quiet dinner, talking about mom's upcoming trip to Germany, when we suddenly looked to the side... and saw my best friend and her family sitting down on the table next to ours. Haha! What I thought was going to be a typical, uneventful meal turned out to be a wonderful dinner with laughter and stories shared over delicious food.

I love going home to the south.
Mama Lou's Italian Kitchen
An intimate and cozy restaurant that serves authentic Italian dishes. I like that their pizzas are not greasy or oily, but still fresh and super delish. I'm not really a fan of thin crust pizza but this one is a must try!
Mama Lou's Special Pizza: tomato, mozzarella, prosciutto, mango, arugula, and balsamic cream.
Mama Lou's is located at: B1 L36 Tropical Ave. corner Tropical Palace BF International, 1721 Las Piñas, PHL
