Laena smiled as the pale green she-dragon her elder twin had hatched in her cradle, now the size of a large dog, crawled her way onto her and Baela's lap. The hatchling seemed to purr as it settled in, as if she was assured she would be lavished with affection as a result.
"She's growing into a very beautiful thing. Has she told you her name yet?"
