Although the musical scenes of the cartoon were chiefly animation, an occasional live-action footage of a concert or music video of the Jackson 5 would be spliced into the cartoon series. A specially recorded medley of five Jackson 5 #1 hits "#IWantYouBack", "#TheLoveYouSave", "#ABC", "#IllBeThere", and "#MamasPearl" were used as the show's theme song. Each episode would feature 2 songs by the Jackson 5. Because #MichaelJackson owned many pets in real life, a few pets were added as extra characters to the cartoon.
