Seonghwa's Fashion Journey: An ATINY's Thoughts
Not my usual content but I just had to share my thoughts.
I've been an ATINY since predebut, and today ended up being one of those days where I've been deeply moved by Seonghwa's achievements walking on the runway for Isabel Marant's FW 25 Show for Paris Fashion Week. Not only has Isabel been enamored with Seonghwa, but seeing just how much his self confidence has boosted over the years has warmed my heart.
Although I don't have as much time these days to engage in the plethora of content k-pop pushes out for us, I will say that this runway experience is not only going to be memorable for Seonghwa and ATEEZ, but for ATINYs as well that know the journey Seonghwa has embarked on when it comes to his relationship with his self image and physical appearance.
I know Seonghwa for having such a serene physical appearance that rides comfortably within the realm of androgyny, which can be altered based on his hair style, makeup, and fashion decisions which to me, never fail to hinder the light within him and his artistic expression. If you get a chance to view his performances, the level of storytelling behind his expressions and acting always touch me as a fellow artist whose purpose on this earth is to express.
Seeing the growth and stability Seonghwa has been able to plant himself in as not only a member of ATEEZ, but as Park Seonghwa, the South Korean celebrity and artist, it makes me immensely proud of him for slowly climbing out of his shell and shelter he had created for himself all these years and to chase after such amazing opportunities.
Knowing the bond ATEEZ shares and their prioritization to promote the group as much as they can, seeing each of them individually attend these solo events and activities makes me proud to see each of them carve out their own names and allow their aura and presence to speak for themselves. Seeing each other become more sure of themselves as the years go on and seeing their confidence grow just reassures me as a fan that those in these respective industries see what we see in them, and will bring them opportunities that were never guaranteed for them on a silver platter.
I always hold so much gratitude for everyone within the fashion world for welcoming our members with open arms and showing them new sides of themselves every single chance they get. I can't wait to see more from them as this will not only influence them as individuals, but continue to feed the creations they'll present for us in the future.
P.S. Seonghwa walking on that runway made me tear up, I was having my proud mother moment.
P.S.S. Deep dive was dramatic as hell so "ATINY's Thoughts" is it!
