Mami and Hitomi should date.

Why?

Hitomi is already having boy troubles. Gen even confirmed that Kyousuke's first love is his violin.

Mami's only other option is a literal child.

They're both elegant, oujo-sama types.

Teacup lesbians, if you will.

They'd be really cute and soft together.

Hitomi's "Girls can't love girls!" freakout and later intense interest in Madoka and Sayaka's relationship smacks of someone deeply in the closet. Other timelines hints at her being attracted to girls.

Almost everyone in this stinking show is gay or bi anyway, I say we lean into that.

Seriously, we got the rambunctious tomboy couple, the sweet and sour couple, let's get the elegant couple!

Hitomi deserves better than her reputation of being the one to snatch Sayaka's crush away from her. Kyousuke will be fine.

Sayaka and Hitomi will be back in the same friend's group! Then they can re-bond over Captain Oblivious!

Again, it would be really cute.

Do you have any headcanons for how the Madoka Magica girls would look like as adults?

The only ones that I feel any way about is that Sayaka grows her hair out and gets a bit more feminine without really losing her tomboy edge while Hitomi, once she's free from her parents expectations, actually ends up going hard the opposite direction and goes punk. So, cuts her hair, buzzes it down on one side, gets a nose ring.

And since all my headcannons with Hitomi that don't involve the afterlife have her dating Mami, I'm gonna say that happens after she has a falling out with her family after they discover her secret girlfriend and runs away to live with Mami permanently.
