Makoto! My little kuma, how are you? How's school? Are you keeping up with your studies? Oh and what about your classmates, have you made friends? Komaru says hello, I think she's trying to get ahead of you in whatever you two were reading recently. Do you know when you can come and visit us again? I should make your favourites. Some curry and some mochi... maybe some ice cream and cheesecake... ramen... what was I talking about? ((Hi I'm under obligation to bother any Makoto))

🍀 The boy gave a hearty laugh at the barrage of questions his mother had to offer him as he saw her.

“Mom, mom! Slow down! It’s too much at once!” He couldn’t deny it was great to see her, though, even if it had only been a week or two since his move in here. Not that his life here at the academy had been awful, but…well…it was  a bit much.

“Well…let me think….I’ve been keeping up alright with the general studies, but I don’t really know what they’re going to expect out of me in the final exam…guess I’ll have to see when it comes to that.”

“Friends though…well, I’ve been trying. Think I’ve had better luck outside the school than in it. It’s …not really what I expected, honestly. Living with all these prodigies….it feels like talent doesn’t come without a price. Like for example - you know Iruma, the inventor behind the eye drop contact lenses? Turns out she pretty much never sleeps….when I went to ask her about it, she called me a pervert and kept insisting I just wanted something out of her….you think that’s how people like that get treated growing up? She’s probably just used to that being the case…”

He wanted to think the best of people, after all. There had to be a reason for that attitude…

Gonna try and interact with her baby boy. "Happy birthday, Makoto." Let's try not giving away that she is a little scared of him.

     “Ah, thanks mom! I’m glad you remembered!”

      He smiled innocently at her, as if he didn’t literally plan the destruction of society. He wasn’t genuinely happy often, but this was one of the few times he truly was.
