A true friend
If someone is a real friend they wouldn't hold you back from exploring your true potential. They wouldn't go out of their way to control you or keep you beneath them so they could feel superior. A true friend encourages you to do what you love. They help you see things about yourself you never knew before, but they would never ever hold you back just because they want to be the only ones to shine. They would never pick at your insecurities to keep you on the ground while they walk away feeling as if they're greater than they are. Friends don't use others as pawns or numbers to prove popularity. Friends are your support and people who celebrate your accomplishments because they feel as proud of them as you are. Be that true friend. Don't be a manipulator that sells the image of friendship to feel better about themselves by beating others down.
