"A Lannister always pays his debts"
Ser Jaime Lannister, from Game of Thrones, played by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Time: 5-6 h. Materials: "Golden" color.
Jaime Lannister.
Kingslayer.
Oathbreaker.
Man without honor.
The beautiful thing about Game of Thrones is the way you can love and hate the same character because they are just so complex. There is no ‘villain’ whom you cannot empathize with, no ‘hero’ without their own flaws and drawbacks. It’s a gray dreary world with gray characters.
And then you have Jaime Lannister. A man universally acknowledged as the ‘Kingslayer’. A man who shocked everyone by flinging a child out of a tower when seen in his compromising incestous position with his sister (the Queen). A man whom everyone hated, the supposed villain, the tyrant who betrayed his own king, broke his oath, and whom nobody trusts, nobody honors.
He was set up to be such a hateful character, but as the series progressed and we understood his motives, his reasons, we started liking him.

His character arc has been the most interesting to me, and he is definitely one of my favorite characters (not to mention half of my OTP). I root for Jaime, because I believe he is truly good.
The Lion of Lannister.
Oathkeeper.
Jaime Lannister.
There it is. There's the look. I've seen it for seventeen years on face after face. You all despise me. Kingslayer. Oathbreaker. A man without honor.
