I think we should just start challenging all the bigots who are like "what about straight pride/marches" to go organize one.
Like why are you on Facebook, Instagram, out in public, etcetc whining about not having an event that you wouldn't actually want to have, go to, help plan, or fund? Fucking go do it. No one is stopping you, and by the looks of so many Facebook posts, you have so many people to help you out.
You know, let's here it for the queer men, nonbinary and gnc people, trans women, and Black, Indigenous people of color who have made it easier and more acceptable for men to wear make up and have long hair in Western cultures
I dont really keep up with a lot of people especially celebs consistently but I'm glad Lil Nas X seems to be in a better place
Lil Nas X took to Instagram to tell fans about his bipolar diagnosis and improved mental health.
It would be a little nice not to get misgendered at pride by one of the vendors
Just thinking about how my sister's best friend (basically my sister at this point) telling me she sometimes calls grown men girl scouts but doesn't do it to me.
Honestly it is so nice, in a world where people are like "I call everyone girl" or whatever, having someone think for two seconds about how someone who has been misgendered their entire life and so possibly doesn't want to be called a girl/etc because of that. Like it's the bare minimum but it does give me some hope
A reminder that it's okay to use a binder if you aren't trans or don't know if you are.
You are not taking something away from anyone else. You should have autonomy over if you want a chest or not, regardless if you're trans (or specifically a trans man) and regardless if sometimes you do want a chest for whatever reason.
Take this post as permission to try binders if you have the means to.
Cis people really need reminders that they don't have to go into a whole spiel about why they accidentally misgendered you
