It actually used to be/still is one of my top three Japan ships that’s for sure -3-/ Sometimes its position switches with other Japan ships I’m really into at the particular moment (looks very hard at Swiss//pan and Chu//Ni and Ger//pan / Ita//pan / Ger//Ita//pan and etc. Japan ships on my ship list) but that’s because I pretty much ship (almost) everyone/Japan SOOOOOSO I still really like it a lot! It has so much nice art too!! \o/Giri//pan is my forever top OTP and I do prefer Asa//kiku as a second but Ameripan is not far behind Asa//kiku (and honestly which one I prefer more does depend on my mood sometimes as said above heh so quite often they become tied in rank) (I ship Japan with way too many characters)
Soooo. If Giri//pan is a 9000+++++ (etc. …yeah) and Asa//kiku is a 10.5+++++ then Ameripan is also a 10.5+++++?? (give or take higher numbers and more pluses) (IS THAT A GOOD RANKING idek what I’m saying aha)(ALSO OT3S WITH IT ARE VERY GOOD TOO STRAY//TRIO INCLUDED YES I’ve even read a Greece/America/Japan fic before that was really really nice!!)(I’ve also RPed Ameripan before yes! Oreki Houtarou is a minimalistic high school boy. One day, he joins the Classic Literature Club at his elder sister's request.
There he meets Chitanda Eru, Fukube Satoshi, and Ibara Mayaka. Chitanda is a calm beautiful girl but she turns into an embodiment of curiosity once she says, "I'm interested in it (Watashi, Kininarimasu)". Fukube is a smiling boy with a fantastic memory who calls himself a database. Ibara is a short girl and is strict with others and herself. She loves Fukube, but he always dodges her approaches.
They begin to investigate a case that occurred 45 years ago. Hints of the mystery are buried in an old collection of works of the former members of Classics Club. The collection is titled "Hyouka."

There's more though than just the initial club mystery, for example, the recent episode featured hot springs yeah -3- mostly they put forward mysteries and theories about them and Houtarou is (usually) able to solve them~ but Houtarou himself is pretty lazy and hates wasting energy haha.
I'm watching the fansubs, though I plan to buy it whenever it's released here too. Currently it's being fansubbed by Mazui and gg Fansubs, among others.
As for online streaming, try googling "watch Hyouka online" and you should hopefully be able to find something?

Hyouka! It's a new anime by Kyoto Animation (who animated Haruhi Suzumiya, Clannad, K-ON and Kanon, among others) which is currently airing and has seven episodes out of 26 so far.
