I read that one prompt about Izumo’s workaholic boyfriend and it gave me an idea of my own. Imagine a scenario in the Everybody Lives AU where Izumo’s boyfriend has to meet the family (all of Homra). Imagine the poor guy trying his best to make a great first impression but being constantly intimidated by this “gang.” He’s scared but determined to be liked. lol

I’ve joked before about Yata having to get the ‘what are your intentions’ talk from Munakata but imagine the poor soul who dates Kusanagi and has to deal with both Mikoto and Totsuka. I can imagine the two of them having an almost good cop/bad cop type thing going on except Kusanagi’s boyfriend belatedly realizes that Totsuka is in fact the bad cop. Mikoto I imagine would just be carefully watching this guy who presented himself to them as Izumo’s boyfriend, kinda sizing him up and the poor guy feels like he’s being stared down by a lion. Even so Mikoto doesn’t say anything, just listens to the guy talking about how much he likes Kusanagi and maybe Mikoto occasionally takes a smoke or yawns or something and Kusanagi’s boyfriend isn’t sure if he’s being intimidated or accepted. Meanwhile Totsuka is all smiles and friendliness, oh my Kusanagi’s boyfriend where did you meet what do you like about our Kusanagi-san don’t mind King over there he’s a big softy really. Kusanagi’s boyfriend thinks he can relax a little because Totsuka is so nice and unassuming and then Totsuka will just casually make some very pointed insightful comment where it’s clear if Kusanagi’s boyfriend answers wrong Mikoto will probably finally get up and throw him out of the bar. Even so, Kusanagi’s boyfriend forces his way through it with the power of love and Totsuka is so impressed with him, patting his back like I guess you seem to be a good person after all. 

Getting past Mikoto and Totsuka is the hardest part but then Kusanagi’s boyfriend has to deal with the rest of Homra too. Imagine Yata and Kamamoto come into the bar while Kusanagi’s boyfriend is sitting there alone waiting for him, he identifies himself as the guy Kusanagi is dating and Yata is looking at him all skeptical while leaning in real close and trying to look intimidating, this guy better not be trying to pull anything over on Kusanagi-san. Kamamoto is inclined to be more friendly but he also looks more intimidating so Kusanagi’s boyfriend isn’t too sure how to handle it. Maybe just for extra points Fushimi stops by right about the same time, asks Yata who this guy is (totally ignoring Kusanagi’s boyfriend, like why should he care it’s just Misaki is looking at this guy a lot so he wants to know) and when Yata says that’s the guy dating Kusanagi Fushimi gives him a sharp look like ‘huh.’ Luckily the easiest person to deal with probably ends up being Anna, who upon being introduced to him pulls out a marble and stares at Kusanagi’s boyfriend for a long time. He feels oddly nervous, like this kid can see deeper than anyone else, but then Anna smiles and congratulates Kusanagi. Kusanagi’s boyfriend relaxes and suddenly everyone is being nice to him, like he was accepted by Anna so he can’t be a bad guy.

"The Seventh King". The true identity of "In-Mantle", who controlled the supernatural beings of Tokyo. A former Siberian prisoner of war. At the end of the war, he was imprisoned deep in Siberia and forced to perform hard labor. He managed to return home several years later, but his health had already deteriorated due to the harsh working conditions. Upon arriving at the port of Maizuru, he was implicated in the spying of another prisoner and was arrested by the Allied occupation forces. After being transferred to Yokosuka, he was released for lack of evidence and due to his fragile health, and entered the Uraga Repatriation Center.

In mid-1947, he was deported when the relief hospital closed, but due to a lack of necessary documentation, fear of the communists, and his inexperience, he was left adrift. The following year, he reached the coast of Tokyo, a coastal settlement, and became trapped. Around that time, probably due to the suffering of his training, he awoke as the "Colorless King", extending his evil influence from the coastal settlement to the city, transforming into the "Black Cloak Monster", who devoured many people with supernatural abilities to survive.

[PERSONALITY, CONDUCT]

Upon awakening as the "Colorless King" on the brink of mental collapse and near death, his consciousness is muddled and ambiguous, dominated by primal desires and impulses. Most of his desires are for training, and most of his impulses are driven by fear. The "Monster in the Black Cloak" was not a conscious attempt to interact with others; it was merely a manifestation of his lurking consciousness that hides in the shadows. His immediate flight upon being attacked is also a reflex rooted in fear.

Conversation is nearly impossible, and the ego only emerges fragmented from the space between desires and impulses. He is oblivious to the fact that he is devouring those with supernatural abilities. Afraid of connecting with others, he refuses to acknowledge the power he has consumed. As a result, he survives in a state of torture, receiving a small amount of power each time he is on the verge of death to regain consciousness. Even the words he speaks are echoes of the past, resonating with his emotions, not words spoken in the present moment.

[ABILITIES, TACTICS]

The essence of its abilities lies in chaos and annihilation. The "Colorless King" varies in nature with each generation. It manifests as the "Black Cloak Monster", possessing opposing psychokinetic powers: an alluring force born of hunger and a repulsive force born of fear. It prowls the shadows of Tokyo, secretly devouring those with similar powers: supernatural beings.

The "black cloak" is actually a "devouring maw" or "outstretched hand" formed by the "Colorless King's" psychokinetic powers, so attacking it does not harm its main body.

During the "Battle of the Six Kings", it devoured the "Green King" and his subordinates amidst the chaos, transforming into a gigantic, quadrupedal, lizard-like monster. It weakened further, teetering on the brink of annihilation, when the "Green King" and his followers were temporarily recaptured, but it absorbed the energy of the American nuclear bombardment and, in turn, grew stronger, transforming into a bipedal monster. It wreaked havoc, unleashing overwhelming destructive power, such as the emission of a "Contradictory Power Line" (a name coined by Somei Nazumi), a chaotic fusion of two telekinetic powers. However, it quickly became exhausted when confronted by the five Kings, empowered by the sword-like light of the "Golden King", and the battle ended when the body emitting the telekinetic powers withered away and died.

The Sixth King (The Gray King). The organizer of "Kiri no Ichi", known as an urban legend. A wounded soldier. Before being drafted into the army, he was a banquet entertainer, a "hokan", who enlivened the atmosphere in geisha houses. He suffered severe burns all over his body during the war, with injuries so severe that he could barely move. The war ended while he was recovering in a sanatorium, but he lacked the energy to adapt to the turbulent postwar society. Soon after, he settled in a black market on the outskirts of the city, living with other people who had been left behind.

In late autumn of 1946, when the black market was demolished to make way for redevelopment, he and the city's inhabitants lost their homes. It was then that he awoke as the "Gray King", leading them into the fog. Unaware of his immense power as a supernatural being, he remained oblivious to the fact that he was the chosen king of the "Dresden Slate" until his encounter with the "Red King" and the "Blue King" two years later, before the "War of the Six Kings".

[PERSONALITY, CONDUCT]

His true nature is cheerful and carefree. He loves lively environments. He doesn't dwell on things deeply and goes through each day without a care, like a flatterer. This lifestyle is disrupted by the war wounds that cover his entire body, but he doesn't lean toward either pessimism or optimism; he simply accepts it and chooses to live on the fringes of society. He suffers a pain that never goes away and is saddened by having been abandoned by the world, but he doesn't hold a grudge. He is a kind person who considers the feelings of others and doesn't impose his own.

Aside from that, he is like anyone else: shy, clinging to the past, and generally without any particularly striking traits that deserve special mention. He doesn't become too attached to the inhabitants of "Kiri no Ichi", adopting a relaxed attitude of welcoming those who arrive and not pursuing those who leave. All the inhabitants are ordinary people who have settled there unnoticed. In other words, Otono has no servants, and "Kiri no ichi" doesn't strictly fit the definition of a clan. Their specialty, as they themselves claim, is "Nanyara Nabe" (a shortened version of "I wonder what's in that").

Her real name, "Tsunogui Iku", was barely known to others thanks to a tag sewn onto her clothing.

At some point, she settled in the Ueno underpass, a refuge for vagrants. She survived the harsh conditions, barely surviving hunger, and her extraordinary intuition earned her the respect of those around her.

However, after murdering an old man, she left the underpass with other street children and began committing crimes in the suburbs of Tokyo.

In late autumn of 1946, during an operation by the occupying forces to eliminate bandits, she awoke as the "Green King". She took more than twenty fellow survivors as her subjects, and they escaped together. From then on, they continued their criminal activities in the suburbs of Tokyo, using the power of the "Green King" to secretly steal supplies from the occupying forces.

A simple and unassuming girl. While she possesses exceptional intelligence, understanding, and intuition, her emotional mechanisms differ slightly from those of ordinary people, leading her to make impulsive decisions. They never fight alone; they always face the enemy as a group led by Iku. Each individual is like a component in the deployment of an induced electric field, and the absence of any one of them leads to the collapse or failure of their tactics.
