Your work is hard and it can get really…stressful sometimes, but you can’t chase that all away with alcohol. I know how it feels. Sometimes I have some pretty shitty days as well and it can just feel like too much, but that is not a good coping method. How about I make us some popcorn and we curl up on the couch for some television? I recorded some new episodes of Parks and Recreation and I even waited for you this time before I watched them.” As he made his way towards the kitchen of their small apartment, Nathan glanced over his shoulder and smiled. “Maybe, if you’re still feeling down and such, we could take a nice long bath together before curling up into bed? If you’re really lucky, I’ll even give you a nice, long, hard massage and I’m not speaking in euphemisms there.”

It’s not as if you could go back in time and make him not try to kiss me so why bring on this anger?” Nathan let out a defeated sigh as he knew good and well there was barely anything that could temper Mason now that the young man had found out. It hadn’t even been a romantic situation when Steven tried to kiss him. The two had just been up in Steven’s room talking about the latest books they had read when suddenly there was Steven leaning in to press his lips against Nathan’s. The slight hesitance Nate had even taken had been from shock – not desire – but he had no longing to tell Mason about that either. “Look, babe, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, but I seriously didn’t want you to freak out this way. There’s nothing between Steven and I.”
