Day 7/60
It really is a nice feeling whenever we cross out our to do list. Even though I had spent 3 hours of napping, I still able to achieve my target so thats a win. The third pic is me doing my niece’s mathematic homework. I miss doing math.

The words 大家 dàjiā (all, everyone) and 打架 dǎjià (to fight) sound very-very similar 👆
Read the sentence out loud to practice, and pay attention to the tones!
So I’m taking Chinese, and the school only has one Chinese teacher, who decided to switch schools last year.
It’s the first week of school, and the teacher hands out flash cards for us to cut out, but is surprised when we don’t have scissors.
She tells us that we should have bought some, as it was on the syllabus. Some people try to tell her that scissors are against school rules (classified as a weapon) and that we aren’t allowed to have them.
She then tells us “stop disrespecting me!”
This is quite a contrast from the last teacher, who kept her scissors in a box, as she genuinely feared that we would stab each other.
In Mandarin class, we have a chinglish version of 试一试，想一想，猜一猜 etc etc. We still say 一 but the verb is English. It becomes, try一try, think一think, guess一guess. Also, try一try sounds like 踹一踹 so be careful hahaha.
Mandarin class
Friend ari likes to collect the wrappers of the good candy whenever its passed out during class. So whenever its passed out everyone just hands it to her. Like no questions it's just "hey pass this to ari" and everyone does it and I think it's cute
Today as she walked passed dennilson just,,,,,put his hand out with the wrapper to give it to her

Day 4/60
It’s almost midnight and I just finish my mandarin online class. Today is a hectic day, going around doing various things. As for my thesis, there is only 5 journals left to read in the subject of aboriginal pedagogy. My method is time consuming but it really help during the writing process. As for my mandarin class, I learn various sentences today which requires a lot of practices later.
The weather is rather gloomy but a happy heart makes today happy day!
