so I just found out my kit needed more sanding down before I finished all the detailing, but I saw that comment on the MMCC forums AFTER having done all of said detailing (comment was like 2 mos old but I've been in Job Transfer Hell since late May so).
now I'd have to sand off EVERYTHING a 3rd time and fill out more print lines and paint pooling. which I probably will not do, because I've been working on this damn thing for 3 years through college and graduating and working and I don't think I have it in me to strip it all again.
so, here's pics of it because I'm still damn proud of it and I'm gonna finish it, I just won't be going for MMCC kit approval:

anyway. I'm sad now because I got on to do my bimonthly forum update and say "LOOK HOW FUCKING COOL THESE TURNED OUT GUYS" and then realized it was all for naught in terms of the CRLs. Gonna go eat a popsicle and mourn for a bit, then go finally order a flak vest and my bike spoke hinges.
