Considering the Cuphead mode I’ve been in, it’d make sense to show my own rubber hose son some love again.

Drew Manfred in his villain outfit from his show. His wife has it framed and hung up at home nowadays.

I know and love Florence but whos the other guy? Is he a cuphead oc too?

The other guy is Manfred! Now he does require some explaining because while he is a rubber hose style character, he wasn’t originally made to be a cuphead oc, he was a pure original character made for a universe my friend @crazybearlady came up with. The story is that an old animation company through unexplained means managed to some how get real living versions of the characters they made, and they became actors in the show they were making. Think of it as a little bit like a Roger Rabbit situation where they “film” the cartoon with actors. (It’s got nothing to do with Bendy and the Ink machine either, the parallels are coincidental)

So Manfred the Moth was the villain of this show, but in real life he’s a real nice guy, he just looks very untrustworthy. Our story as it is, is actually set in present day where they’re no longer acting in the show and live normal lives and get jobs and go to starbucks.

AS FOR WHY I’VE OCCASIONALLY SET HIM IN THE CUPHEAD UNIVERSE. Well as you can tell I really really love the game Cuphead, and I wanted to make my own oc for it. I made Florence out of an old unused rubberhose design I made, but I was so attached to Manfred, and I was drawing rubber hose stuff anyway so I’m occasionally “borrowing” him for the Cuphead universe. Think of it as like an AU for him. In the Cuphead universe he was a down on his luck actor who had to turn to crime to make ends meat. He’s given up the life of crime though because he’s settled down with a wife (this lovely lady) and sold his soul to the devil to try and make their life as trouble free as possible. It didn’t work and now he’s also one of the Devil’s debtors.
