Gala Galore on a Saturday
I rarely go out with friends because of my inner Tita feels. I tend to stay at home during weekends and just rest. At times, I get out of our home on weekends if mama will ask me to accompany her to a nearby place. Having said that, I can say friends who invite or plan with me for a gala every weekend are true friends who are dear to me.
One random day, me and my friends Ms. Trix and Kei decided to go on an unlimited Korean buffet as we craved for it. Good enough, Ms. Trix knows a budget-friendly dine-in resto for it. We planned on a Saturday.
I and Ms. Trix met first. We were early enough to be the first in queue before Sampyupsalamat opens. Kei arrived minutes afterwards. We caught up with each other through our endless stories. We enjoyed our buffet course too! Samyupsalamat has a variety of food ranging from five types of meat, veggies, eggs, rice, soup, and side dishes. All of these are UNLIMITED!! Just request for another plate once you’re finish. Their staff are courteous and attentive. We ordered the P399 unlimited course meal. Yes, you read it right. Just P399!! I love the taste of their food because it is not too tasty. Other resto with unlimited offer has too much flavoring, you tend to eat less. Nakakaumay kasi agad. Thankfully, Samyupsalamat has the right blend of flavors.
I would love to come back here in Samyupsalamat! I wish they will have a branch soon near us.
We rested for a while and went to UP Diliman. We planned to visit Vargas museum. We are lucky to see an exhibit of architectural prowess. In addition, we saw installations and creative artworks. The guards are polite too in following security protocols. Vargas museum is well-maintained as evidenced by its cool AC units, bright lighting, and clean areas.
We definitely enjoyed strolling around as our eyes feasted on these aesthetics while our mind stored more information.
We went to Mang Larry’s isawan too! I love their isaw because it is not too burnt. Those are just chewy and tasty enough. Such a great way to end our worthwhile day of gala galore. hahaha!
It’s definitely a fun and worthwhile day with my friends! I am looking forward to my next bonding with two of my favorite people. :) Thank you to Ms. Trix and Kei for this day!
