i literally put down my phone, got up from where i was lying on the couch and left the room being all "nope, nope, holy fuck no fucking way this is finally happening" the moment the back of his head appeared and he was calling for akiteru and then saeko reacted like that

like, i am dying, he is so adorable and we still don't even know his damn name why do we still not know his name???

and also, hinata's entire reaction to him? is everything? from being so starstruck, to being all "i'm surprisingly not disappointed to know my idol isn't playing this beloved sport anymore"? i just? for a bit there i thought his mood would totally drop, especially since he's gonna basically be fighting for the title of the new little giant (which, hilariously, was thoughtlessly granted to him by the original in this chapter and i love it). i’m so glad it’s didn’t go there.

seriously tho, this series is killing me more and more lately.

(and like, not even gonna mention hinata being so damn observant of kageyama and speaking so highly of him before being all, 'lol he has no friends'. and not even gonna mention tsukki and yamaguchi being casually adorable in their corner over there. i have yet to recover from the sheer amounts of bokuaka from the past few weeks and this is just overwhelming on top of all of that, tbh. so.)

kanda literally grabbed onto allen's ankle so that allen wouldn't get away from him

and allen broke down over the whole thing with tim and cross and the apocryphos and it was heartbreaking (it kind of says something about him and their current relationship if he is able to pour everything out in front of kanda of all people)

and kanda almost making good on his promise to kill allen, holy shit, after all their fights and squabbles, i never actually thought i'd see the day kanda actually draws his sword with the actual intent to kill allen, i cannot even right now

and them winding up where allen walker started, where he met mana and became who he is today and just

and like

if we get some more allen backstory, especially if we end up learing a few things from before (as in, from 30whatever years ago or whenever that was), it's kind of poetic (fitting?) that kanda's there too, since allen got a front row seat to kanda's memories since he was reborn as kanda yuu. idk, i just think it's only right

and honestly? kanda "i don't give a fuck about people" yuu telling allen off for being an ass to those who care about him in his self sacrificing stint is probably my favourite thing about this chapter
