i'm gonna be so honest here and i know my opinion is unpopular: we need to stop wanting to adapt Junji Ito into an anime.
this isn't about the drop in quality on the second episode of Uzumaki, that's disheartening and it's a symptom of a wider problem regarding animation
what i mean is that if the only way to make a good adaptation is to have it look and feel exactly like the manga, maybe it should just stay a manga.
