Some random doodles for the bonus thank you page on Manga-Gaga.
These are some oekaki's I did a while ago that were gonna be the "character select" pictures in Gagapow (That Shoot em up game I started ages ago) I still want to make the game at some point (maybe I'll get it finished in 2043) but I doubt I'll use these now (although I could, I'd have to draw the other characters in the same exact style) so er...here they are, because I like em.

It's hard to believe I started Manga-Gaga this week 4 years ago. Well ok, it is quite easy to believe for me actually, because I've changed a lot since the n00b I was back then.
I tried a slightly rougher style of shading on this, which works in some places and didn't in others. Took about 2 hours to sketch and pen, and a good 5-6 hours CGing, I'm guessing. Also the first time I've coloured Mr.Bishy, Minky and Snapp in her new gear, so I did a lot of hue/saturation tinkering on them till I got what I wanted colour scheme wise.
To celebrate the lanuch of Manga-Gaga Ver.9 and comic #150, here is all the profile art used in the Characters section grouped together.

Earlier in the year for a college project I attempted to revive the old Gagapow Manga-Gaga shmup under the new name GagaWing (a play on the Capcom shmup name Gigawing), this time programmed in Flash with actionscript. I got to the point of having my character fly around, shooting and flashing up a shield and some rockets flying about that would hurt him, along with a title and help screen. Unfortunately I was a bit out of my depth with the programming and ended up abandoning it. Here’s some gifs of what it looked like!
