@mangfaldig sent: Aldo likes learning and it's hard to keep secrets when living so close to someone else. But this is one he thinks he's managed to figure out. With some help from Din's siblings, and classes he takes on his phone, he's able to greet the other man in sign: "su cuy'gar, ner ... " Well, he had almost had it.
To say he’s stunned is an understatement. In a way, he shouldn’t be surprised-- Aldo hadn’t exactly kept it secret that he thought learning Mando’a was a good use of his time-- but the sight of his signs still gets Din’s heart racing in a way he doesn’t think it’s done in... to be honest, ever.
His own hand lifts, his eyes wide and expressive, and he signs it back: “Su’cuy, ner vod.”
And then he backtracks, changes it-- “Ner cyare.”
With luck, Aldo won’t know what that change means. With luck, Din will be the one to teach him.
