Im really anticipating the lore on Mangkwan style. What the meaning of the scarification, hair styles, color themes, and body paint are and such.

What is the initiation ritual for getting scars and what do they mean? Why are varangs legs and forearms painted red and black? Do they do purity rituals for their bodies? What do their piercings represent to them?
