Wee Nam Kee
My friend Joo was searching for some comfort food. Maybe she was stressed out or something, but she suggested eating at Wee Nam Kee. Good thing there's a branch in Trinoma.
Wee Nam Kee originated from Singapore. Never tried Singaporean food, this will be the first time. *yey!*
The place is well lit and decorated, they have cute lantern decorations, a window for displaying the chickens. The only off thing was the electric fan. *hahaha*
What we ordered:
Half Combination Chicken. We both love the roasted chicken more than the steamed version.
Cereal Prawns. A combination of sweet crushed cereals *I think this was also fried*, some chilies and of course prawns. Love the sweetness of the cereals.
Wee Nam Kee Fried rice. Nothing unusual, but I like the texture of their rice.
Mango Sago Pudding. Pudding at the bottom, gelatin on top. It was a little hard, we had a hard time scooping.
Cucumber Lime Frizz and Mango Mint Smoothie. I love that they have a twist to ordinary drinks. We both loved our drinks. Although Joo said her drink reminded her of the sauce for cucumber, vinaigrette.
The staff was really nice and accommodating, they were even cooperative with us taking pictures of the food and even posed for a picture with us.
My penmanship is bad *haha*.
Well, how about you? Have you tried Wee Nam Kee? How was your experience?
