Now spinning: Slip is considered the more essential of Quicksand's two full lengths and it's a great release for sure. What I really like about Manic Compression is how gritty and more dark and heavy their signature sound is on a majority of the songs. Also, I recently rewatched the video of Title Fight I took on stage from This Is Hardcore two years ago and noticed Walter Schreifels was definitely standing behind or near me before he joined the band to do vocals on Safe In Your Skin.
