BIG BANG ALIVE TOUR IN MANILA (10.24.2012)
I'm not another fan who's about to wave a concert ticket in your face. No. All those kinds of fans are now heading to the MOA Arena, if they're not already there. Instead I'm here sitting in my living room, sulking, singing to the songs of the greatest kpop group ever, and killing myself internally for not securing a ticket to their first ever Philippine concert early enough.
My mom stares at me from across the room and thinks to herself, 'this girl's got it bad, it's crazy.' Yep, they don't understand why I love these make-up wearing, fashion-strutting guys sooo freaking much. But I know some of you guys do, because they are just Fantastic, Baby.
I don't know if any of you feels like I feel right now. I'm technically on autopilot the whole day. Absent-mindedly cleaning the house, cooking for people here who wouldn't eat my dish because I unconsciously put too much salt or cooked it a little too much, and washing the dishes only to have someone else repeat it because I washed it without soap... yes, unconsciously. I'm sooo floating right now. Not in the good, this-feels-great kind of way, which is what I would probably feel if I WERE to attend the concert. No. It's the lost, unruly, why-of-all-people-am-I-experiencing-this kind of floating.
This must be how it feels like when they say 'So near, yet so far.' There in a Stadium somewhere in Manila doing final preps for the 8 o'clock spectacular, while I am here somewhere in nowhere, not being with them. They're just 4-hour drive away from me, and those 4 hours I could not cross.
Alas, I resign to the world (figuratively, so not a suicidal note) and hope that in one or two years I could have enough moolah to watch them live, here or in their sweet hometown, Arirang. Adios~
