It was almost laughable how blunt the shorter one was. How he had enough nerve to actually speak his mind when Hao had killed for less. In some ways he respected that, because regardless his Reishi ensured that he was well aware of the feelings of those around him.
“And who is going to make me pay, Manta? Are you?” The shaman moved closer to the other male, then knelt down before him. Despite his horrible deeds seconds prior Hao’s face was devoid of any anger or malice.
“Perhaps you may not be able to wrap your head around it, but I am creating a paradise. I don’t need weak shamans or corrupt humans in my world. Only those worthy will be able to survive in my shaman only kingdom.”

“ people will never bleed enough to fulfill your vision of justice. ”
“And?”
Did Manta truly think he’d gain anything from the statement? They both knew Hao’s stance at the end of the day; his decision had been made long ago. Humanity had only been spared thanks to Yoh. Yoh and his frustrating optimism; his meddling.
Regardless, the Shaman King’s view remained. The world was better off without humans, and he’d continue to think that way until someone else took his throne.
“Would you prefer I act on my feelings, dear Manta?”
( @manjien )
Hao was always relatively impressed that the shorter male still managed to bring himself to APPROACH the shaman king. After all, it wasn’t like Manta was oblivious to just who he was - what he was. Most humans who came to know him avoided him, and for good reason. Then again, the shorter male had long proven that he wasn’t like most humans.
Well, at least he’d be entertained for a bit.
“My, to what do I owe pleasure, Manta? Is Yoh busy?”

ARE YOU SERIOUS YOH
❝Look at it this way, if I die, I don’t have to endure Anna’s training from hell.❞
❝ i’ll do what i have to. ❞ (shrug shrug let manta help w whatever it is)
“There’s nothing for you to do.”
It was a rare occasion for Anna to refrain from heaping chore after chore onto Manta, but with Yoh gone facing who knows what… well, it wasn’t like she had anything else to do herself.
And she wasn’t about to use the other male for any deep discussions about those feelings.
“Unless you want to clean.”

❝Can you exercise yourself to death? That’s possible right? What does your encyclopedia say about exercising yourself to death?❞ Inquiring minds wanted to know, specifically Yoh who swore out his legs were turning into jelly. He’ll never walk again at this rate. ❝Maybe I’ll die before I even have to worry about the tournament.❞
