can i answer without you telling me to chill again or is that your only response? the idea of 'attracted to women until undoubtedly proven otherwise' plays into the whole, you know, people can't REALLY be gay. saying a character who has literally apologised for not being able to be attracted to a girl has basically not found the ~right girl yet~ comes with a long history of people invalidating homosexuality. esp since dirk is one of the only homosexual characters in that webcomic

also "dirk is one of the only homosexual characters in that webcomic" really? bruh, we have kanaya and rose who are in a committed relationship. we have eridan requesting a black relationship with sollux (newsflash: eri and sol are both male characters in case you didnt know). and as for the other characters, they do not have a canon sexuality??? for all we know, no character has a canon sexuality? trolls even find the concept of sexuality irrelevant. for all you know terezi could be a lesbian. karkat could be gay. jade could be pan. dave could be poly. john could be homosexual.rose could be bi. you guys need to stop. theres no gay erasure in homostuck the way theres no racism because nothing is canonically said so that you can make up your own headcanons.
