August 29 2005 is a date that we will never forget. Hurricane Katrina, one of the deadliest hurricanes of our time hit the Gulf Coast including New Orleans, Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. When the storm was over more than 1800 people were dead, hundreds of thousands of people were left homeless and it caused billions of dollars worth of damage.
