i mean honestly when you think about it the entirety of hero society literally is just one big ranking system whether or not you do actually become a hero and that should’ve been evident when the viewer is shown bakugou and midoriya’s past together, like, having a teacher come up to you and say with just a glance that you have a high-class quirk that would get you far in life no matter what, like, the fact that certain people are just viewed as automatically lesser/evil based on what quirk they have and being quirkless just makes you secondclass... how are bakugou’s feelings when it comes to his obsession with where he stands amongst his peers not 100% valid and reasonable considering all of society pretty much puts you on this scale
