Hello, I spotted you RPing with my mate Mina, and I kind of had to follow, because I really liked Moonlight and in particular Josef. So I thought I would say hello basically. Hope you are well. Men of Many faces.

It was not often that individual mortals were able to hold Emily's attention, at least in any way that did not end with death. Of course there were certain celebrities that interested her; musicians, authors and even artists that she quite enjoyed, but her interest nearly always lay with their work and not the person themselves. Even when surrounded by mortals in a club or at a party, she kept them at a distance, preferring to remain nameless and for them to be nameless in turn. It was simply easier that way, on both her mind and heart.

Cold anonymity had become almost effortless in the large, modern cities. One could walk down the same street night after night and nearly never see the same person twice. And even if one did, they were often too caught up in their own lives to remember you. This truth made this single man seem all the stranger.

Emily had seen him several nights before, a face amongst a sea of faces filling the cloned coffee shops that dotted the street. The next night she saw him once more, several blocks away. It was not until the third time that she saw him, still anonymous, still from a distance, that he really caught her attention.

She could sense death about him, even though he seemed quite obviously alive, and quite obviously human. Although she was aware that there was a great number of things in the world that she did not know nor understand, including things about her own race, she had always thought that humans were fairly simple. How was it then that this man seemed to be living, breathing and dead? For the first time in her memory, she decided to follow a human for curiosity's sake alone. She simply had to know.

Five bodies lay strewn across the park, throats ripped out and exsanguinated. A man in a smart suit and over coat was on the phone directing who ever was on the other end. He pointed and gave orders to a bunch of strange looking people who were cleaning the scene. "I want these bodies moved in ten minutes." He looked over to the bunch of vampires with blood caked across the faces and rolled his eyes. "What a night, at least it can't get worse."

"Don’t be so sure," Evan walked up from behind, she assumed the one not doing the hard work was the one in charge, "Agent Evangeline Wheeler, Talamasca," she flashed her badge, "I’ll need to ask you the cease and desist this clean up."

She made a gesture with her hand, not taking her eyes of the man in the over coat. Several agents began to converge on the scene, some with weapons others with medical gloves holding forensic kits. “We don’t want any trouble,” her tone flat, “These bodies are apart of an on going investigation therefore we cannot allow you to move them seeing as this is now a crime scene.”

Alice stopped and turned back to the man, a little surprised that he had seen her. "It's fine, I wasn't looking where I was going." She paused for a moment. "This may sound a little odd, but how can you see me?"
