2015 F1 Season Preview: Manor Marussia
One of the winter’s most surprising and uplifting stories was the reincarnation of the once seemingly doomed Marussia F1 team as Manor Marussia. From the despair of administration, the team has emerged against all the odds and will be on the grid in Melbourne. In owner Stephen Fitzpatrick and chairman Justin King, the team has earned two businessmen well accustomed to success who must see potential in the Dinnington-based outfit. After been forced into such a tight schedule, it’s difficult to expect anything in terms of performance or results - they will be running their 2014 car for at least the first few races as they try to fully develop their 2015 car. Despite the difficulties, their return has been well received in the F1 community and, after scoring their first championship points last season, it’s encouraging to see the passion of a team that just wants to go racing.
