The small MiniBot padded out of the room quickly, trying her best not to wake up Toothless.

Perhaps it was the life who had finally started to grow within her, or just the usual churning of her mind that glued her optics open. Whatever it was, the ceiling and walls had become rather boring. She paused for just a moment by a door, the one leading into Fireflight's shrine, the one she normally went through on nights like this one, before she slipped out the hatch. Squeaker had parked near the sea, near Shoal, this time, and carefully walked to the spot where they always met.

He wouldn’t be there, but the memories they shared would be. And that was well enough for her. Really.

She sat a little bit further up than she usually did, not exactly wanting to go anywhere near the inky expanse of horrors, and stared up at the dark, moody sky. The stars seemed to all be brooding in a nest of clouds. Not weather. Nothing that she could sense yet at least. The purple and grey Autobot pulled her tattered, worn-out red blanket tightly around her shoulders anyways. It was more comfortable that way—like a hug.

Then she sent out a hushed ping, just loud enough to barely be heard if the mech was awake, but hopefully nowhere near loud enough to wake him.

She’d be okay on her own tonight.

((no yeah obviously we-the-muns have no idea how old anyone is, except occasionally "older than this; younger than that" ranges. Especially Aligned, god, Aligned is such a mess. But—yeah, I usually assume that most characters know when they were made, even if we don't.))

((... Roughly, at least. Like, I can see Aligned bots only having a rough range for their creation day, since once they're born they've gotta spend a probably varying amount of time crawling out of the Well and fighting monsters before they join society. But they might count the day they emerge at their official birthday.))

((it's probably easier for like, IDW bots. If you're forged then the date your hot spot ignited is probably an easily-looked-up matter of public record, if you're cold constructed pre-war you can probably still pretty easily look up the date your own batch was built, if you're MTO it's also easy to look up the dates of the battle you were built for. Your birthday is part of your full name. Hence why I write Prowl as being baffled that people don't know when they were born.))

((so in verses like that, it makes sense for most characters to know their own age, or at least be able to get it right to within a few weeks, even if Hasbro hasn't given us enough info to figure it out for ourselves.))
