Mozambique former finance minister, Manuel Chang is fighting against extradition from South Africa to the United States to face a corruption trial.
Chang was arrested in South Africa last year at the request of the U.S. government to answer to a two billion-dollar debt scandal that rocked Mozambique’s economy and affected some U.S. investors. Chang was finance minister for ten years from 2005.
