Finished, despite the repeated attempts at obstruction! This is the Crochet Block Afghan from Annie’s Kit Club. I’m an experienced crocheter, but my sister had done a kit, and I really liked the palette on this one, plus the idea of having it dribbled out to me in kits (it felt more casual). In the end, I did find the learning materials helpful: They had video tutorials with a left-handed crocheter, and I did pick up a few tips and see some things that I could be doing differently. Usually, I refer to written instructions because (right-handed) videos aren’t helpful at all.

I realized early on that I was going to have a lot of yarn left over. I plan to make a Christmas version of my #manycatssquare pillow.
