For those of you with mapheads in your life, may I make an early gift recommendation to you—The Curious Map Book, a collection of “cartographic gems” compiled with commentary by Ashley Baynton-Williams from the collection of the British Library. Perhaps not the most geographically faithful maps ever produced, as you can see from the excerpts displayed here, but fascinating & gorgeous nonetheless!
