Can I just say... You're like, the kindest and most understanding mommy Dom??? Like??? Ever??? Like holy shit you're just.. aaah??? You don't push limits, you're mindful of people's pronouns, and you're just like... An overall amazing person??? It could be what I've seen when it comes to Tumblr blogs and how some people portray themselves (i.e. old cis white men that are wannabe doms and don't know jack shit) but... thank you for being a safe space/letting people be who they wanna be here, sexually or otherwise. You're fucking awesome. (I'm sleepy and my blood sugar has been acting the fuck up tonight so if this is random/makes no sense I apologise!) - 🍁
Dammit I'm the one suppose to be making people flustered, not the other way around!
I have to say, this one makes me like...both happy and sad at the same time. Happy and smiling because, holy fuck I love getting messages like this and I'm so pleased to know that my goal of making a safe area is working.
Sad because the things you listed there, not pushing people's limits, using preferred pronouns, being understanding are just like...things that should be common decency?? It costs -0- effort to use people's pronouns. It's really easy to recognize that people have their limits for a reason, and should be respected. Some people don't mind pushing them, but that's something to be established ahead of time and done only with their permission, and even then you have safe words in case it goes past where they're comfortable/having fun.
But I've seen enough of the fake-dom blogs to know that that's not the case, with people (usually cishet guys) who seem to have just seen 50 Shades and taken that as a guide of how to be instead of properly educating/exploring.
