I know you’re not as much into HC anymore but I felt it necessary to inform you that Wels and Pearl are basing remarkably close to each other:

i was actually gonna try to watch one of those 2's episodes [although I don't think wels's is out yet] cause my little brother asked me about jt this is so awesome.. idk if I'll make fanart or anything for it but I might try to keep up with this season..

Pearl and BigB are both constantly getting comments this season about how big and buff they are. I’m choosing to imagine a Nosey Neighbors training arc between series where they both got ripped together.

Why do all Pearl fans seem to love the Nosy Neighbors so much? I'm just asking because if you look in the tags of the art vaguely10 just posted, its all the big Pearl blogs freaking out about how much they love the NN?

well to put it simply. limited life came right after double life, and if you watched it from her perspective you'll know her loneliness is a massive point of that story. it's probably part of the reason she won, but from a character perspective was like. insanely traumatizing. being in a season where the gimmick puts so much importance on relationships and being completely alone

after last life, bigb was seen as untrustworthy due to his betrayal of cleo. while it was an act of despiration since he was running out of time to get a kill, it was still a betrayal of his day 1 ally and of someone who does not let go of grudges easily. in double life there was the secret soulmates stuff which I'm not going in depth into but that definitely didn't help his reputation.

so, you have pearl, who was abandoned by basically everyone in double life. and bigb, who has a reputation for betrayal. it seems like a recipe for disaster and yet.. they're one of the best alliances either of them have ever had. while they may not be together 24/7, they saved each other literally and metaphorically countless times and stayed loyal until the end.

plus they're just.. a really fun duo. something about their styles of humor mix very well and they're both very positive even if they can be a little self deprecating at times. it's just fun to watch them interact

ough really good.. i always love regressor pearl headcanons especially during double life and especially when it's something to do with cleo

i do really like the idea of cleo leaving pearl alone and feeling bad about it later.. cleo as a person tends to hold onto grudges really strongly [i'd argue its one of the most important aspects of their character in the life series] so its always interesting to see when that turns out to be a flaw rather than a survival tactic

and like.. idk something interesting there about how they cared enough to send the emergency signal but not enough to really help pearl otherwise? the cleo and pearl dynamic in dl and liml is so intriguing to me and i think that idea captures it really well

and i really like the ideas for false too.. very cute to me i like the idea of her pestering ren into regressing with her so they can play fight or something

I know you don’t do much life series any more but on stream Pearl called herself the villain’s puppy dog and their “loyal dog” and said she’s not happy with it. Which is only making me think about pet regressor Pearl who gets into a dog mindset when she’s deeply distressed even if she doesn’t want to.

this is real 2 me .. like. it's annoying cause she wants to be taken seriously but every time someone's mad at her or something like that it makes her terrified that she'll be alone again. and that feeling makes her regress which means it's harder for her to communicate and help her teammates and stuff. and being frustrated about that only makes it worse

also. not to be a nosey neighbors guy but .. I think bigb would be one of the few that can recognize when that's happening to her, both because he tends to be more patient and because I think he would also regress when people are angry at him, especially cleo
