aah, thank you for answering! would you perhaps consider making a step-by-step guide or something? i do have photoshop, but i haven't really found a reliable way to edit my acnh screenshots yet :o(
Yeah sure! It’s honestly a reall simple process tbh check under the cut for details!
1. First of all I get my pictures onto my PC by using the post feature to upload them to a private twitter account, tbh there might be an easier way, but I don’t have an SD card so I go for that option.
2. Open the image in photoshop, and go to Image > Image size to resize it, I set the width to 540 as that’s the tumblr post size these days. any width cropping you do should be done before this stage, but height can be done after!
3. Go to filter > Sharpen > Smart sharpen. I use these settings but I definitely suggest playing around with them!
4. That should leave you with a nice sharp image!
5. (Optional) Add some colouring to your image. I do my own, but if you have a look around for PSDs you can find some pre-done colouring for you that you can just open in photoshop and drag on top of your picture for something a little different.
6. Save! I use photoshop CC 2017, so for me that’s under File> Export > Save for web (legacy) and save your image as a PNG.
And then you are ready to upload to your blog! I hope this helps :D
